Job Title: Chief Financial Officer

Job Location: Madison, Georgia U.S.A.

Description: The CFO is responsible for the Accounting Department, all Treasury functions and the Purchasing Agent. He serves on both the Administrative Council and Finance/Audit Review Committee. To keep the General Director, SLM Treasurer, and governing Board and Administrative Council informed of the organization's financial situation monthly, or more often as needed. Works with the Accounting Office in the dissemination of funds to the 32 Discipleship Training Branches. Works to expedite payment for authorized purchases for the organization according to departmental budgets or specific Council action. Responsible for yearly budgets, inventories and audit.

Language Required: English

Minimum Education Required: A degree in Accounting, experience with a non-profit organization, and background in financial planning and planned giving (annuities, gifts by will, benefits from IRA) will be a plus.

Skills Needed: Excellent in math is required. Our platform for accounting is Peachtree, therefore a working knowledge of this program would be helpful. Good communicative skills are needed so that mistakes are not made because of misunderstanding.

Other Details: The individual selected will be training under our present CFO until such time as he is ready to take over the position
